I'm just showing my favourite pieces of Meeting in Styles, apart from the Epok/Bonzai/Ghetto Farceur which I didn't get any decent shots of.  But they're all over FlickR if you need to see it.

It was good to see how the London boys play it, and to meet up with people from See No Evil again. MoS had a surprisingly mellow vibe to it (for London) and I look forward to seeing what they do next.

Note to self -

Busy busy, I've missed some potential posts with See No Evil, but at the time I felt the world wide web had See No Evil covered, and I didn't really have that much to add, but I do have a bunch of pix, which I may post retrospectively.

Demon Hell Riders - Motorbike Show Room 29/0711

Demon Hell Riders - Petro and friends.
One week to set up, for one evening only. Go-karts, mechanics and a garage.

The devil was certainly in the detail.

There was a video to go with this installation, of the Demon Hell Riders go-karting action adventure.  I've been reliably assured this video and some images will be put online at some point, but unfortunately Petro's internet presence is quite low (I was nagging him to up it!) but he has a tumblr of his photos, so show it some love http://theallotment2011.tumblr.com

Upfest 2011 - Friday - Herakut/Case/Inkie/Lokey

A beautiful way to the start the weekend, and the sun is still shining on South Bristol!

Herakut painting the Tobacco Factory building facing the Aldi car park.
I will never get bored of seeing this everyday.

And as I took in my evening dog walk with the sun setting on North Street, the shops shutters were being painted by Bristol's finest.

The ever-charming (and prolific!) Inkie painting with Cheo & Lokey.

Also took in the View Art Gallery show 'Archetypes' - Herakut, Futura, Jago, Case, Remi/Rough, Kaws, Pam Glew.  The gallery had a photographer taking shots all night, so check out their website in a couple of days and the catalogue is online to check out the work www.viewartgallery.co.uk

Case opposite the View Gallery on the petrol station.  He will be carrying on around the station the next day.

Inkie/Sepr/3Dom - Croft - Shiv Lizzy

I think the strength of the Stoke Crofts open air gallery, is the constant change, artists trying out new ideas and the fact they can still pull in a name or two. In the last six months a couple of memorial pieces have gone up for Bear (poet, and Croft resident) which were quite wonderful.  So I was really pleased to see such a beautiful memorial piece with respect to Shiv Lizzy (Shivon Watson, 28) who was tragically killed in London earlier this year.

Here's some progress shots from the new Inkie/Sepr/3Dom.
(sorry for the slightly late posting)
